A fantastic Italian restaurant in the heart of Martin Place. The food was authentic, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. From the house-made pasta to the perfectly balanced sauces, every dish showcased quality ingredients and traditional Italian cooking. The restaurant has a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for both a relaxed lunch and an intimate dinner. Combined with friendly, attentive service, it was a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for excellent Italian cuisine in the CBD, this is definitely a place worth visiting. Highly recommended, and I’ll certainly be back!

loved the service and the ambiance. Loved that the recommendation of food was truly a phenomenal! loved everything we got and would reorder again instantly! We really appreciated that we weren’t rushed for our anniversary celebration it was truly a beautiful night and the food was unforgettable! Honourable mention about our waiter he was so nice and adorable would check in and be so attentive! he let me keep some coasters for my scrapbooking journal really an night to remember! We cannot wait to book in again for future celebrations!

Some of the best seafood platter and steak we've had in a long time in Sydney! Well crafted cocktails and an extensive list of local and international wines and spirits! Notable dishes are the Burrata with maple Pumkin, raw crudo, 24layer chocolate cake. Service was a balance of personable attentiveness and professional. We felt well taken care of

Had such a wonderful dining experience at Rovollo. The atmosphere is elegant and intimate, making it a perfect spot for date nights or special occasions.❤️❤️ We started with the homemade focaccia with housemade infused butter, the San Daniele prosciutto, truffle squid ink salami and melon platter, and the Maleroo kangaroo tartlet with horseradish and cured yolk. The kangaroo tartlet was a real standout — beautifully balanced and packed with flavour. Of course, we had to try the famous Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe, which is tossed tableside inside a giant parmesan wheel and finished with a dramatic flame right in front of you. It was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. For mains, we enjoyed the 300g Jack's Creek Black Angus top sirloin, cooked perfectly and full of flavour, paired with the Kipfler potatoes with peperoncino and truffle honey, which were seriously addictive. To finish, we shared the 24-layer dark chocolate cake with vanilla and mandarin cream. Rich, decadent, and the perfect ending to the meal. We visited Rovollo two weeks ago to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant has a small dining area that does not offer many seating options, but it feels cosy. There are a few different sections to sit in, including one close to the kitchen where staff collect plates etc, a quieter corner section, an indoor section facing the outdoor dining area, and the outdoor seating itself. The food was average overall. To be honest, none of the dishes we tried really stood out, and everything was just moderate. However, what truly deserves recognition is the service. Every member of the team was kind, attentive, and professional, but a special shoutout goes to Fey. Fey was warm, friendly, and very attentive. She noticed we were celebrating a special occasion and, when she saw that we had not ordered dessert, she kindly surprised us with a small dessert to celebrate. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our night feel special. Overall, our experience was good. While the food was not particularly memorable, the service made up for it.

Busy balmy night, stood in line for at least 7 mins, waiter 1 finally attended to a couple in front of the line (I assumed they didn’t book) Waiter 2 acknowledged us, asked for a name and pointed to our assigned booked table. Whilst we were looking at the menu; waiter 1 brashly asked in an accusatory tone: “just checking you guys actually booked and didn’t just sit here randomly…?“ his reasoning was to tick off the name on their system. Appalling communication…they should just have checked with one another internally. Tuna crudo was bit too flavourful (not balanced) - had a hit of spice which wasn’t required for cured fish. The Tartare didn’t have enough crisps to go with the beef - adding a few more pieces would help balance the texture of the dish. Think the selling point is the cacio e pepe - I mean for show it looked good, but tbh not the best quality cheese wheel selection. The guanciale should have complemented the Spaghetti but it was very hard all the way through, no bounce when bitten. Fettuccine vongole also had too much flavour (almost too salty) and the pasta was under, 30 more secs in pan would have been enjoyable. Looked forward to the 24 layer cake but was very aver

From the team behind a restaurant I’ve worked with before and love, I was really curious to see what they had created here. And upon walking in, the space is just beautiful. Warm lighting, an open kitchen, and a menu that’s the perfect size. Plenty to choose from without feeling overwhelmed. The highlight and my favourite dish of the night was the Fettuccine Vongole. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly, the flavours were on point, and the chilli had just the right amount of heat. The clams were beautiful and done just right. Honestly, I probably could’ve eaten a whole plate of the clams on their own because I loved them that much. I also really enjoyed the Beef Tartare and the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo. Both were fresh, well balanced and great starters. I got really excited when I saw the Fried Burratina on the menu. It was nice, but I wasn’t overly blown away. I felt like the sauce could have taken it to another level, because there’s only so much you can do with fried cheese. The Cacio e Pepe was finished tableside which was fun to watch, though it ended up being a little heavy on the pepper for me. Dessert was the 24 Layer Dark Chocolate Cake. Rovollo is a warmly lit restaurant and wine room, bringing you modern opulence with a touch of theatre. definitely a cute spot for date night or dinner with the gals we started off with the Yellowfin Tuna Crudo, Pickled Tomato, Bottarga $34 a zesty start with those cute pickled tomatoes. their Beef Tartare, with Cured Yolk, Horseradish, Crisp $36 was also lovely, well balanced and rich! on its own I think it could've done with a little more freshness but if you pair it with the Crudo and eat bites of both, it's a great way to begin. the Fried Burratina with Salsa di Pomodoro, Basil $28 was definitely unique but does miss the mark, the burrata just becomes a liquid, goopy mess and with no bread served with it to mop it up, it becomes a dish easily forgotten. the sauce as well was nothing memorable. the WA Grilled Baby Octopus, Potato Foam, Nduja, Salsa Verde, Roe $36 was lovely in comparison, I really enjoyed the potato foam and nduja flavours, bringing this dish to life. for mains (and a show) order the Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe in the Parmesan Wheel $37 with optional guanciale (for me, that isn't optional but a must!) it's definitely fun seeing the pasta roared in through flames,
