Absolutely loved this place! The food was incredibly tasty and full of authentic Indian flavours. Every dish was fresh, well-seasoned, and reminded us of home. The ambience was beautiful, with a traditional Indian touch that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable throughout our visit. If you’re looking for genuine Indian cuisine with a great atmosphere, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended!

Probably our 5th visit since it opened a month ago. Absolute must visit if you’re keen on Indian food. The food is unreal. Packed with flavour. Keep seeing enticing dishes being carried past and on the menu that keep us wanting to come back to try more. Generous portions, good value, and food that feels genuinely authentic, and friendly service - owner is always welcoming and waves us goodbye. Will probably be back next week.

Went today at 12 and mini tiffin is worth it. It has dosa, poori or pongal,, mini idli, kesari bath and vada. Cost is 23.60. Also curd rice, gobi manchurian take away, also good. There was seating and service to table. However, staff forgot my order and had to remind them twice. Filter coffee is good as well.

Growing up in Dubai, Saravanaa Bhavan was always one of my favourite Indian restaurants, so being invited to the grand opening of their new Sydney CBD branch felt very special. The team welcomed us so warmly and the food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed Medu Vada, Gobi Pakoda, Halwa, Masala Dosa, and their special Madras Coffee, which brought back so many memories. The ambiance was beautiful, the service was lovely, and everything was presented perfectly. Wishing the team all the best for their new branch in Sydney CBD. 🤍

Highly, highly recommended — a true 10-star experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely phenomenal experience at Saravanaa Bhavan on their inaugural day in Sydney CBD. This was not just a meal, it genuinely felt like warm South Indian hospitality at its absolute best. The friendly owners, Shekar Mani and Vinod Balasubramanian, along with the wonderful manager Arul Thiruviam, welcomed me with so much warmth and affection that I truly felt like a special guest rather than a customer. Their humility, passion, and personal attention made the experience incredibly memorable. Now coming to the food, absolutely 10/10 and beyond. I ordered the Podi Idlis and Parotta Kurma, and both were simply outstanding. The flavors were deeply authentic and brought back nostalgic memories of classic Chennai dining from the 1990s. The Kurma especially was out of this world, rich, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and exactly like the legendary authentic Saravana Bhavan Kurma many of us grew up loving in Chennai. Every bite felt comforting and nostalgic. The sambhar and chutneys were equally exceptional, fresh, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and completely mouth watering.
