Penrith is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Australian addresses list the street number, suburb, state abbreviation and postcode, and Penrith follows the same pattern; a number like 2/411 means unit 2 at number 411. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I went for my red Pβs on Monday 31st of August 2026. I was feeling confident and knew I was going to pass. However this was not what I was expecting to be the reason I failed. My driving instructor was Margie and not only did she seem very rude, as soon as we got into my car and I turned it on she complained about my air con. My air con was previously done and serviced by my brother in law and my sister whom are which mechanics. Upon telling Margie this she rudely said that I need to get it checked again. This offended me as she spoke bad about my sister and my brother in law. She then continued to fiddle with and touch my air con system in my car, itβs my car and it wasnβt polite, you donβt do that to other peoples car as you must respect them. The air con in a car does not affect the driving test. When reverse parallel parking I touched the kerb, which is not a fail but if I went up the kerb it would be which I didnβt. If I had gone up the kerb and mounted it, both Margie and I would have felt a massive thud driving off, and you guessed it there was no thud. She then βcountedβ 6 observation fails which I didnβt not do. I did more observations and head turns than I can count. Not

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO TO THIS RMS FOR YOUR DRIVING TEST I cannot stress this enough! I went for my test, I was marked perfect for every maneuverer. Curb stop perfect, reverse parallel park perfect, Maggie the tester was comfortable the whole trip not once did she need to stress and said my driving was great. She failed me for "my hand being on the inside of the wheel" mind you that is incorrect. My left hand was on the outside of the wheel, yes on the lower part of the wheel which is completely legal as per the handbook states your hands can be anywhere on the outside of the wheel. She stated it was on the inside, which is impossible to do any turning etc with my hand through the wheel. My finger tips were on the inside but how in any world are you meant to hold a wheel without your fingers on the inside of the wheel? She marked incorrectly, failed me for an illegal reason and took no accountability. A waste of my time and money. I would not recommend taking your test here they will fail you for completely legal hand placement. Disgusting behaviour.

βββββ Very disappointing experience at Service NSW Penrith. I had my driving test booked, but the examiner, a woman with blonde hair and blue eyes, refused to conduct the test because of a tyre. My uncle politely asked if we could have five minutes to replace it, but she refused and walked away without listening. What upset me most was her rude and dismissive attitude. I left feeling disrespected after spending so much time preparing for my test. Based on my experience, I would not recommend booking your driving test at this location. It was a waste of my time.

I had a great experience with Be Right 2 Driving School in NSW. The instructor was very patient, professional, and explained everything clearly, which made learning to drive much easier and less stressful. They really focus on building your confidence and making sure you understand the road rules properly. The lessons were well-structured and tailored to my needs, and I felt more comfortable behind the wheel after each session. I highly recommend Be Right 2 Driving School to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive driving instructor in NSW.

Second time to transact with this branch of Service NSW and Iβm glad I didnβt have a horrible experience unlike my first visit. From the concierge to the desk of the person who assisted me, everyone was efficient and courteous. Elisabeth handled my photo id card application and Iβm so glad that she made things easy. In matters where she was not too sure, she asked her colleague, Rose how to go about it. This is valuable because I have experienced other staff who didnβt know what to do with my name just dismiss me, giving me no options but to leave. I give Elisabeth five stars, but for this Service Centre, I give four stars. The woman who treated me rudely and was impatient with my questions the first time I had to transact with Service NSW 2 years ago is still Penrith centre. I was hoping she was already fired given her zero skills in customer service. I would go back to this centre for my driverβs license. Iβm hoping it will be the professional and customer service oriented staff who will handle my transaction.
