Have used Stayz a few times but wont again. Arrived at our beachfront house and pool was green. Called and emailed numerous times but their business model is to avoid issues for as long as possible. It takes their customer service days to respond to emails and phone calls they just say they will call back which they dont. We were informed by pool technician that they knew about pool issue days prior but did not advise us. Stayed at property for 6 days and 3 of those no pool which upset the kids mostly. Stayz pretty much collect your money then avoid you. I wish Google would give a option for zero stars because thats what they deserve.

How can these people be allowed to operate a business. Stayed at lovely accommodation - however no off street parking as advertised, only 1 towel for 4 people. TV had no aerial connected, batteries flat in the remote control. Ran out of toilet paper on the first day. Owners neighbour delivered toilet paper the next day and walked right into the house to deliver it to us - no privacy. On the last day we found a moulding dog faeces under our bed. Was horrific. Never again.

Due to having no communication from the time of booking 4 months prior, we did not stay. 1. I tried to contact host for several times for confirmation of the booking… with no response 2. Due to receiving no communication, I then contacted the host to cancel the booking… with no response. 3. I then contacted Stayz by phone 4 times… with no outcome except to be told to contact the host. 4. I was not charged for this stay, however I will never use Stayz again due to the lack of assistance when contacted 4 times by phone and the poor communication. This booking was very important as we were attending our daughters surprise engagement Melissa O’Brien

Be very careful when using this booking service. It is NOT like it used to be! I booked an apartment in Sydney 5 months ago and I had to cancel for personal reasons. The full amount for the booking was taken out of my account on the day of the booking however 4 weeks later Iam still waiting for my refund. The host of the property refuses to answer my emails regarding this matter! On contacting Stayz Customer Service they said because the host uses an external payment system to theirs, they cannot refund my money!! Are you serious! The host is operating under their brand yet they take no responsibility whatsoever. Unfortunately when you book with Stayz you are not guaranteed any support if something like this happens.

Your stay could end up being cancelled an hour before check-in. We booked our stay for the 1st-4th of Jan 2026, back in Oct 2025. We were looking forward for a much needed calming and relaxing holiday. On the 1st when we were an hour away from the place, I texted the property manager to give us the access details to which they responded by apologising that the had “emergency” and now the property is unavailable. We had our food packed for 4 days with a dog too. Suddenly had nowhere to go. Called Stayz/Vrbo to complain. The response was since we didn’t complain on the 1st they won’t be compensating us. So instead of us scrambling last minute to find a place to take us, we were supposed to call and complain on the 1st of Jan! NEVER again.
