Sydney is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Australian addresses list the street number, suburb, state abbreviation and postcode, and Sydney follows the same pattern; a number like 2/411 means unit 2 at number 411. Excellent food! The roasted potatoes as starters was utterly divine. Staff are friendly and helpful, even tho the place is packed. It's a little hidden in the back street, so it's perfect as it can get rambunctious. Pls make reservations

Food 4.5 🌟service 5 stars for a pub! The Sunday roast is out of this world. Its a great size! It comes with veggies. Carrots ,broccolini, the best potato’s the gravy was amazing! The peas was a little hard! Yorkshire pudding was really good. Soak up the gravy nicely. The cauliflower was so yummy! I also loved the Brussel sprouts

Firstly, the positive is that the decor and vibe were fantastic! However, the food was underwhelming. The roast beef was very dry, the porchetta lacked flavour and the yorkshire pudding tasted like a microwaved supermarket version. Fortunately, the gravy was great and really helped make everything else passable. Desserts were good overall, though the ice-cream that came with the sticky date pudding was terrible and ruined what would otherwise have been an excellent dessert. A better wine list would’ve help elevate the experience. Service was neither here nor there - they took our order and delivered the food and that was about it.

Had a great Sunday roast here. Recommend booking if you can as the space filled up very quickly. Great portions, good sides, a little expensive but its location in the city and the ambience make up for it.

Sublime beef roast with Yorkshire pudding. Can’t wait to come back and try their other roasts, and their steaks and scotch eggs. I asked the bartender to recommend a gin and he asked me if I liked botanical, fragrant gins. I said yes. He gave me a Hickson’s infused with Sydney oyster shells - it was amazing! I went and bought a bottle later that week. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Book a table if you’re more than one.
