Recently I visited The Eyepiece in Hunter Street considering the purchase of new eyewear. This was my first time as I am from rural NSW. I wanted something more unique than than what was available where I live. Firstly, the service from Anya was outstanding. She made me feel welcome and comfortable from the moment I stepped through the door. My budget was taken into consideration as well as my style needs and I was shown many pairs of glasses that made a decision difficult indeed! I was given a couple of clear quotes so I could make a comparison with other retailers while I was in the city. However no one else matched The Eyepiece for range and service and I purchased my glasses there. The range of glasses from prestige brands is really impressive as is the price range. I was able to purchase my ideal frames within budget and without pressure. I was messaged as soon as the glasses were shipped and they arrived two days later. They are just perfect. I will return to The Eyepiece not only to purchase my next pair of glasses but for my eye test as well.

I went for an eye test with Patricia Tsong and she was fantastic. I was experiencing very dry eyes, which were causing glare and affecting my vision. Patricia carried out a thorough examination using up-to-date technology and was reassuring throughout the appointment. Following the check-up and some recommended eye drops, my vision returned to normal. From the moment you’re greeted at reception, you can tell this is an excellent optometry practice. Thank you.

I just had the best experience with Ania on Hunter Street. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about finding the best solution for her patients. I’ve struggled for years to find an optometrist who truly understands my specific vision needs, and Ania absolutely delivered. Her expertise, attention to detail, and patience were outstanding. She took the time to thoroughly assess my vision, explain everything clearly, and help me find the perfect frames to suit both my vision requirements and personal style. It’s rare to find someone with such a high level of skill combined with such a warm and attentive approach. I never felt rushed and left feeling confident that I was receiving the best possible care. I highly recommend Ania to anyone looking for an exceptional optometrist.

Excellent service, friendly staff, great choice of spectacles. I needed tinted spectacles but also have high light sensitivity and both of the optometrists were extremely helpful in explaining the cause. I also got my eye tests done in addition to an OCT and Optos test, and a previously undiagnosed eye condition was also identified. Highly recommend!

I don’t know where to begin… first the choices available are tasteful, well made and huge. This could pose a problem if you didn’t have people like Hannah and Anya to give you honest, respectful, patient and fun feedback. They really care that you’re happy with your your glasses. Secondly, this was backed up by the care, education, experience and patience of Dr Patricia TSONG..she genuinely cares that your lenses and or contacts are going to work for you.
