We absolutely love Vapiano in Europe. We have been to many different branches in different countries over the years, we canβt get enough. That said, Vapiano in Sydney is a very different concept. It retains the name, however it is not a place for a quick, delicious, reasonably priced feed. For a lunch for 2 people on Sunday, we paid almost 100 AUD. This is very disproportionate to the quality of food we received. The food was good, but it is a standard average quality food, what you can get in similar places in Sydney for much lower price. There is nothing notably exceptional. I understand the rent in CBD is high, but for a steep price, you have to deliver something extra to your customers.

Lovely food with great service. Came here twice on my 4 day Sydney trip, the happy hour deal and lunch deals were incredibly good value and even better tasting. The food came out so quickly and was piping hot. Highly recommend

Itβs the loudest Vapiano Iβve ever been to. It was so loud that having a conversation was like entering a room full of screaming children. The service could be much better. The table was cleaned for us to sit at but when we got there it was all wet. I asked the server to wipe it but he disappeared and I used one of the two napkins left on the table. Ordering takes so long because you have to navigate their link and website. Nothing easier if you have limited time for lunch. When my spaghetti bolognese arrived, it smelled really funny and it was so al dente that I wondered if itβd been cooked at all. Decent portion but honestly not worth it. The server when we arrived was super nice, though. Donβt come here at lunchtime. Plus, itβs the most different Vapiano Iβve ever been to.

I got the kids spaghetti bolognese, the beef ragu, and the carbonara. The spaghetti bolonese was nice, the tomato flavour was very present, just wish there was more parmesan. The carbonara was dry, and flavourless, dont recommend it. The beef ragu was the best tasting, but very acidic and just wish there was more parmesan. I got the elderberry and lychee mocktail, i couldnt really taste anything beside fizzy lemonade but the presentation was very nice. Also the table i was sitting in; on the top floor, was very dark and gloomy, it defintely ruined the mood, however the view the quite nice. Lastly the bathroom was very small, had no soap and was in a very unusual spot, there were tables right next to the bathroom.

Food was amazing and so was staff :) Imari helped a lot when I needed warm water for bub. You can see how they prepare pasta so kids wonβt be bored while waiting for food. Easy to order. The atmosphere was great and it had enough space for pram! Highly recommended. Itβs definitely one of my favorite restaurants.
