Undoubtedly the nicest gym I’ve been in. Comprehensive weights area, recovery area featuring massage and compression chairs, wellness area with saunas, spa, plunge pool and hot slab and friendly staff. Can get crowded but I have not had any issue jumping straight onto a bench, rack or machine. Highly recommend.

Ellie is simply incredible. Ever since she welcomed me into the gym she always creates a sense of warmth and joy. She recently helped me with something and went way above and beyond what ‘normal’ help would have looked like. All of of her own initiative and care. She is a meaningful part of the heart beat of Virgin Active. I also have to say that in general, the staff are great. Friendly, kind, and welcoming.

Virgin Bondi Westfield is the epitome of luxury. State of the art machines, clean weight training area, plenty of squat racks, bikes that provide workouts, everything is new and clean. Had a great workout then relaxed in the large, hot spa bath. The toilets are clean and well equiped with toiletries, towels and blowdryers. Had a delicious protein shake in the cafe. Love this gym! Thanks for a blissful morning.

Alex completely transformed my relationship with fitness. I cannot recommend Alex highly enough. From the very first session, it was clear I was in the hands of someone who truly loves what she does and cares about her clients. Before I started training with her, I dreaded the gym. I was unfit, uncoordinated and dealing with several injuries. I'd had personal trainers in the past, but proper form and technique were never really their priority. Alex changed all of that. I was a member for a few months after the club opened, and during that time I consistently found the staff to be friendly, respectful, and always willing to help. They genuinely did their best to make sure members had a great experience. The facilities, including the gym floor and especially the spa and sauna, were very well maintained thanks to a dedicated facilities team. Everyone was clearly putting in effort, and I’m confident the club will continue to improve. With the great manager they have in place (Emma), I believe the club will keep getting better and better.
