I had an excellent experience at Westpac bank Parramatta church street branch, thanks to Andy Poon. His professionalism, patience and genuine willingness to help made a real difference. It’s rare to come across someone who goes above and beyond with such kindness and attention to detail. The bank manger Shilpa was very helpful too. I’ve been running around for a week, had already been to 2 different branches in Blacktown trying to remove a block on one of my accounts that I was not aware of only to be given the run around from the Westpac customer call centre and Westpac branches to then come into the parramatta branch for the first time and have the manager try and tell me what I already know without letting me explain my full story, this triggered me because I came in calm & collected not expecting the attitude and insensitivity I received from a “branch manager”. Then when I asked if she could assist me she continued to insist that I call them back myself for the 100th time this week only for them to tell me what I already knew. So now I write this review while still in the parramatta branch on hold AGAIN! to Westpac customer care and no assistance from anyone in this branch. I could have called again from home instead of wasting my time to come all the at out just for the same result. This is ridiculous! At this point if this does not get sorted today I WILL be closing all other accounts with Westpac and DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE opening an account with Westpac again nor do I recommend anyone coming in to t

Westpac Branch Parramatta is my local branch and they have been wonderful to me. From helping me get Business Credit Cards, put up with my dumb questions during lockdown and helping me understand basic finances; they're totally awesome. Great patient staff and the ATMs are always working without any problems. LOVE THEIR WORK! July 2021: Done a great job of staying open during lockdowns!
