Very conveniently placed below the Sydney Opera House and provides the luxury of parking amidts busy Sydney city. Pre booking is always recommend to gain best prices. They have several levels which goes progressively underground and lifts are in place to bring you right up to the main deck. Wel maintained. Easy access and exit. Highly recommended if you are visiting the Opera House.

The Sydney Opera House is a masterpiece of 20th-century architecture and one of the world's most recognizable performing arts centers. Located on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, Australia, it stands right next to the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. Key Facts & History The Architect: It was designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, who won an international design competition in 1957. The Design: The building is globally famous for its distinctive roof structure, which resembles interlocking white sails or seashells. Utzon famously figured out the complex geometry of the spherical "shells" by realizing they could all be cut from the surface of a single theoretical sphere. Opening: It was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on October 20, 1973, after 16 years of complex construction that faced immense engineering hurdles and massive budget overruns. UNESCO Status: It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007, praised as "one of the indisputable masterpieces of human creativity." Architectural Marvels The Tiles: The gleaming white roof isn't just painted concrete. It is covered in 1,056,006 self-cleaning ceramic tiles imported from Sweden. They are designed to refle

The biggest positive is definitely the location, you are basically right underneath the Opera House and within walking distance to Circular Quay, ferries, bars and restaurants which is incredibly convenient. There were also plenty of spaces available which surprised me for such a busy area. However, the layout is frustrating!!!! The entire car park seems to run in one giant spiral/circle system with no obvious quick exit. You drive down level after level when entering, then when leaving you have to slowly wind your way all the way back up again. It's like a ride I wanted to get off. Unless there’s some hidden shortcut exit I couldn’t find, it’s pretty annoying. Like most city parking it definitely isn’t cheap either. The most mindboggling part though was the lift access design. I’ve genuinely never seen elevators that are only accessible via stairs before. It seems like they were trying to place lifts between alternating floors, but it means unless you’re parked in the disabled spots on level 1, you’re carrying prams, luggage or anything else up and down stairs just to reach the elevator. Huge design flaw in my opinion.

Parked here recently during our road trip stopover in Sydney for a revisit to the Opera house & royal botanic Gardens etc. It was during the afternoon and this car park was quiet busy then. We finally managed to get a parking spot on level 4. But from there on, it was quite a breeze to get to these venues. We took the lift to the ground floor and then it was a very short walk. From that perspective, parking here is quite handy. Unlike the busy street parking nearby, you don't have to go looking around for hours and then worry about the time limit, refeeding the meters or moving the vehicle and so on. Here you just park, go out and enjoy and then leave at your convenience.
