Decent prices for the location. Rueben sandwich was nice and the scotch egg was okay. Great place for beers though

For the price, the Wynyard was excellent. Fantastic location in the middle of Sydney, walking distance to Pitt Street Mall, Circular Quay, The Barracks and more. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfy (we stayed in cooler months and didn't need aircon). The shared bathroom was something I needent have worried about - private, large, tidy, with all modern amenities. Shared kitchen included basic breakfast. The only downside was the noise (road noise and slamming hotel doors to close), which bothered my partner and I more than our kids, who slept like logs. We loved the decor, history and atmosphere of the pub and our pub style accommodation on our one night stay - we felt it added to our Sydney adventure.

DO NOT STAY HERE! As someone who reads the reviews before booking, my advice to you is DO NOT STAY HERE! This is the worse hotel I’ve even been to! This property is falling apart, full of mold everywhere! You can’t walk barefoot, everything is dirty! I don’t know how is still open! They should sincerely close it because is not safe to receive people under these conditions! It smells like old and mold! They have good stars on Google for the pub but not for the hotel! I can tell you enough how bad it was!

Went here for lunch today and the quality of the food was absolutely banging. I got the rump steak — cooked a perfect medium rare, super juicy with great seasoning and a beautiful sear. The chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just how they should be. The salad was fresh with a really nice dressing. We also ordered the buffalo wings — not overly saucy, nice and moist inside with a decent crispy exterior. Overall, really solid meal. Would definitely come back!

Had a one night stay here before boarding a cruise. Despite some road noise it was really quiet and relaxing. The shared common areas of the kitchen and bathrooms is kept really clean. The room itself was clean and very comfortable. I don't know about the wifi I didn't see any log in details but didn't need to use it. The staff kindly stored our luggage as check in isn't until 3pm. There are quite a few stairs up which can be difficult for those with heavy luggage. There is also a rooftop area to relax on and a laundry area. The building itself is absolutely beautiful. I'd happily stay here again.
