Terrible workers, the younger workers are nice but the old grumpy bloke who smells of cigarettes is angry as not sure if he was the manager or something but he was wearing some bright green vest. Other bcf stores are some much better than this one.

I started queuing for spooling at 5:30pm, and the customer ahead of me was served for around 30 minutes. After waiting, I was then told that spooling would be paused for another 30 minutes until 6:00pm despite the store closing at 7:00pm. This was quite frustrating, as there was no prior notice about the delay, and it significantly extended the waiting time. Better communication or scheduling would really improve the customer experience.

I visited BCF Chatswood today to purchase new fishing line, and Josh provided outstanding customer service. He didn't just sell me the line - he took the time to remove my old line and spool the new one onto my reel for me. Throughout the process, he was incredibly patient and thorough, making sure everything was done properly. It's rare to find staff who go above and beyond like this. Josh's helpful attitude and willingness to assist made my shopping experience so much easier. Will definitely be coming back to this store. Thank you, Josh!

I am 60 years old and have worked in sales for a very long time . The manager asked a junior to make me remove my backpack . Which i wear so i dont have to pay extra for a bag .This was infront of other customers and i was totally insulted.i was carrying gift vouchers in my backpack , so i asked for the manager. He hid and did not want to discuss this insult. I had been to supercheap and woolworths already without this incompedence ! I would not reccomend anyone to shop in this badly managed business and recommend customer service training aswell as change of manager . As i had gift vouchers and wanted to buy a fishing rod , we drove to Belrose branch , with back pack and found good management and staff to advise and help. Stay away from the Chatswood BCF.
