I wanted to share an extremely positive experience at Larry Adler with a specific staff member. Unfortunately I don’t know her name but she went above and beyond to help me with my ski boots that were purchased a year ago and weren’t fitting comfortably. She wanted to ensure I was able to ski with the right size boot and went through some processes to get me the exact boots I needed without being a loss in cost. When buying product as expensive as ski boots it’s imperative to know the store is able to help you when things don’t go to plan, rather than approaching the situation with an avoidant attitude… the lady was the complete opposite and genuinely wanted to provide the experience needed for a product like this. I wish I had her name, but if you see this no problem about the ikea bag haha (bit far to travel for bag so feel free to use it). I am really glad I ended up purchasing at this store because I was truly taken care of in this situation. As someone in retail for years I would say the positive feedback is mainly for the individual staff member, as I wouldn’t be surprised had it been another day / another person, I may not have had such help (though am hopeful that the empl

Completely butchered my skis. Sent them for full tune and wax, and got them back with edges completely filed down and blunt. And $135 for the privilege… Not doing that again…

Have been coming here for years but my last visit left a bad taste in my mouth. A pile of jumpers were on a table right under a sign that said $149. When we went to the counter, the item scanned for $249, and when we questioned this, it turned out this jumper was actually a slightly different product and the $249 price was correct. We told the staff it was right under the sign that said $149 and they were standoffish, saying the price difference was too great to honour (understandable), and even suggested a customer mistakenly put the jumper in the wrong pile - despite that whole pile of jumpers being placed right under the sign. Before leaving, we showed another staff member where we found the jumpers just to let them know that this was potentially misleading for customers. The staff member was defensive and dismissive. I'll also add that prices are not marked clearly on products throughout the store, with many products without price tags at all which is against Australian consumer law.

I was looking for ski boots and was served by Sophie. Her knowledge regarding this area was very impressive. Sophie gave me options on different types of boots. She made sure everything was fitting properly which took sometime time before I bought a pair. Her customer service was great. Also advised me a a ski helmet. Could not be happier. Definitely be back. Thanks

Spent $1000's with the shop, but snow board binding $350/ea only last 1 run before it slipped belt, changed one but other one slipped again after another run and belt holder ripped off, stamp pad dropped off too then they refused to repair even within warrentee period. So I bought extreme brand binding online for only $50 to repace and thuck their 'German made' binding into the rubbish bin and I am going to video track this $50 one seeing how long it will last. If it last more than 2 times then it will prove that YOU all are stupid to pay much high price for less, they have power to buy nasty and cheapy product and dump out with 'pro' service to our 'dumb' customers. When I tried to put my ski shoe into this new $50 binding with return card if needed I found the buckle belt is not in the way while that Larry Adler's $350 one is. This is clearly obvious advantaged detail winning over much more expensive binding from the shop. So I urge you to have open mind for online shopping and be aware of 'ripping off' from the shop.
