I’ve been attending the small group equipment Pilates classes at City Physio & Pilates with Yvonne and have had such a great experience. Classes are limited to three people, but everyone follows a program tailored to their own needs, so it feels very close to one-on-one instruction at a much more accessible price. Yvonne is excellent at noticing small details in your form and giving clear, specific adjustments. I tend to hyperextend my knees, and she consistently reminds me during movements and gives helpful cues such as shifting slightly onto one sit bone. I’m also amazed by how well she remembers each person’s progress from the previous session. The studio has lots of interesting equipment beyond the reformer, which keeps every class varied and enjoyable. Highly recommend Yvonne and the small group classes!

Dan helped with movement of my back/neck on the very first session. He seemed very knowledgeable. He also sent me a summary email with a plan going forward to get back to exercise which I found calming and I really liked. I am hoping to keep working with Dan and getting back to normal as soon as possible. I would definitely recommend at this point. Receptionist Janice was also extremely nice and friendly.

I had a positive experience in my first session today to treat chronic headaches, neck and jaw pain. Nicola was very professional. She took the time to understand my reasons for attending and explained the recommended treatment plan clearly. The same day I received an email outlining the session and next steps in detail. Very impressed and pleased with the service I have received.

I really enjoyed both of Yvonne’s classes—reformer and equipment Pilates. The sessions were challenging while still feeling controlled and safe, and the time goes by so quickly. I especially love the strong focus on core work. She provides clear, guided instructions and offers hands-on modifications that really deepen each movement. I’d highly recommend her classes if you’re looking to elevate your Pilates practice.

City Physio & Pilates is a fantastic clinic with a really professional and friendly team. The physios take time to understand your issue, explain things clearly and tailor the treatment so you feel supported from the first session. The new location is modern and easy to access, and the small group Pilates classes are a great option if you want more personalised guidance. A reliable place in the CBD for physio care, rehab or Pilates.
