Eating out in Australia ranges from beachside takeaways to hatted dining rooms, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. If you have dietary needs, most kitchens will adapt a dish if you ask. Licensed venues serve alcohol; BYO places let you bring a bottle for a small corkage fee. Tipping is appreciated but never expected.

Sydney is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Australian addresses list the street number, suburb, state abbreviation and postcode, and Sydney follows the same pattern; a number like 2/411 means unit 2 at number 411. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great food, would definitely recommend the claypot rice, they prepare that dish perfectly everytime. Went back in 2024, fell in love with their raw menu and swore weβd be back. It does seem theyβve changed the raw dishes up slightly since then, which is to be expected but still a shame. Great service, great ambience, and enjoyable food, would recommend.

We had a delightful dining experience at King Clarence. Service starting from the greet at the door til we stepped outside after was fantastic. The staff paid great attention to provide extra steps. Inside it's a great atmosphere: funky light completed good background music, plus a bar by the window was perfect for a fusion restaurant. The drinks and meals were fancy dressed and tasted delicious. Hard to believe some of which were prepared with unusual ingredients. Overall a great night out.

Super cool, funky venue with deliciously adventurous flavours! Our lunch visit was made especially memorable by our sommelier Amandine. She was warm and welcoming and her wine and sake recommendations paired perfectly with our food choices. All dishes were exceptional but the duck and mango pudding will never be forgotten. You must go here.

We went for a dinner, and you definitely need to book. Great to go in a bigger group so you can try many dishes. Every dish was super tasty. The hero dishes was the roast pork and the duck. All the fresh seafood was pretty amazing flavours too. The must have is the seafood fried rice. Great selection of wines too π· I've also done the banquet option too in the past which us a good no brainer option too.

So... this was genuinely unreal. It's worth noting that I am a new dad and for the first 30 minutes or so, we were finding out feet (shushing a baby) which would have been terrible for the other patrons, so I apologise in advance if you take a hit on the atmosphere metric. Totally our bad. It was at that point we decided to sit out the front. All in all, the service was great, but I really want to note the lady (I believe she was French) who was looking after us on Wednesday Lunch (outside). She was incredible. She knew the food, had good recommendations and actually understood the cooking process when I asked about how the duck was cooked. As for the fooooooood... this goes down as a new favourite. The fish baos, duck and rice were all some of the best versions of these dishes than I have ever tried. I don't really know what to say about it to do it justice, other than... go. Just go. Try it.
