Margot Osteria is arguably one of the city’s best restaurants. I had a fantastic birthday dinner there last night. The food was delicious and the service incredible. They made us feel truly special, even going so far as to surprise us with a tiramisu while they sang happy birthday. I’ve already recommended it to everyone I’ve spoken to.

My wife and I stopped into Margot Osteria for a quick mid-week lunch pasta special, and it delivered. The carbonara was the standout: crispy guanciale, rich flavour, and a saucier finish than most versions I’ve had before. Not necessarily the austere Roman purist style, but comforting, glossy, generous, and very enjoyable. Service was attentive β€” almost too attentive at times β€” but warm and well-meaning. I’ll take that over indifferent service any day. A very good spot for a mid-week pasta hit.

Went here for a work lunch group of 7. We sat outside which was good atmosphere but for some reason the kitchen vents were facing downwards so every now and then we would get hot kitchen air blown on top of us which was uncomfortable and mostly smelt like seafood Food was good overall and rib eye steak was worth noting. Our group shared everything and portion size was good. Unfortunately most of the wines on the menu were not available and the staff had no wine knowledge nor any knowledge to what was listed. Out of the whole menu they only had two in stock which was disappointing. We were for happy hour too from 2:30 onwards which was a good deal for drinks.

Good Aperitivo Hour with great drinks and bites. Nice wagyu burger, croquettes, grilled sausage skewer with chimichurri and fries. Nice outdoor seatings. They do get busy so bookings are recommended for large groups. I have also dined in for breakfast on another occasion, it was delicious too. Good place for breakfast meetings. Friendly service.
