POP MART Westfield Chatswood Store

Very disappointing and frustrating experience at Pop Mart Chatswood Westfield. On 24 May around 11:30am, I returned to the store with a faulty Labubu item together with the original receipt from my purchase on 23 May. A female staff member at the counter accepted both the faulty item and the receipt, and advised me that refunds were not available in store, but that an exchange could be arranged within one month. Because I didn’t want to disappoint my child, I ended up purchasing another item immediately afterwards. However, when I later followed up regarding the faulty product on their App with their backend support, I was advised that the Chatswood store had “no knowledge” of the return, despite already taking the faulty item and the original receipt from us. What made this even more ridiculous was being asked by their backend support team to provide “a clear photo taken inside the store showing the faulty item together with the store staff or the return counter.” Seriously… are you kidding me, Pop Mart?? Who takes photos with your staffs during a normal return process??? Customers hand over items and receipts in good faith, expecting staff to handle things professionally. I

Love this store! The employees are all so nice, especially Nick. He was incredibly helpful today and gave me some really awesome advice. It’s so rare to get such genuine, friendly service these days. 10/10!

Had a great experience at Pop Mart Chatswood! The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They gave great recommendations, were always smiling, and came over to chat with us, which made the whole experience even more enjoy

If someone enjoys being disrespected and doesn’t care about racial discrimination, go ahead and shop at this store. I did was pick up a slightly bulging box and lightly touch it. The staff suddenly yelled at me, “Don’t squeeze the box!” and then repeated it again in Chinese, in an extremely hostile and rude tone. They weren’t wearing a name tag, so I couldn’t even identify who they were. What made it worse is that this same staff member immediately switched to a gentle, soft voice when speaking to other customers. The difference in attitude was outrageous. I have no idea why I was singled out or treated with such unnecessary aggression. They even rolled their eyes at me. 🙄

My favourite Popmart store in Sydney! Best to visit during the weekdays as it can get pretty crowded on weekends due to Popmart's rising popularity. Love how the store is brightly lit and always clean and tidy. Check out their display shelf of 400% and 1000% Mollys, dedicated wall of Pop Beans and the giant decorative labubu figure. The staff are very friendly, approachable and always willing to lend a helping hand even though they must be very sick of people asking for labubus all the time. If you are driving, this store is best accessible via the blue level multi-storey parking of Chatswood Westfield :)
