For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, is it busy at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. Australian cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon, while restaurants and pubs run lunch and dinner services with a quiet spell in between, so an off-peak visit is worth a quick call. Card and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere; some venues add a surcharge on weekends and public holidays.

Sydney is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Getting around Sydney is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy centres, and most suburban shops have their own car park. Public transport and ride-share apps such as Uber and DiDi operate across New South Wales's larger cities.

Iβve been coming to Samosorn Thai for quite a while now, and the food has always been consistently delicious. The flavours are authentic, the portions are generous, and every dish is prepared with care. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is always comfortable. Itβs one of my favourite Thai restaurants in Sydney CBD and a place I keep coming back to whenever Iβm craving authentic Thai food. Highly recommended!

We had the chicken pad Thai and grilled pork salad, soft shell crab and fish cakes. Everything came out very fast and the food was delicious and tasty. We recommend this place as the staff are friendly and nice. π

I was a bit confused at first because the logo says Chat Thai, but the name Samosorn also appears. Iβm not sure if theyβre related or a sister company, just something I noticed. We recently visited and had a really nice experience. The interior looks beautiful and has a cozy feel. We ordered two mains, you can see them in the photos as I forgot the names. We also tried the pandan drink and it was so good that we ordered another one, the pink drink, which we also liked. The food was nicely prepared and tasted great. Service was quick and the staff were friendly and attentive. It would just be better if there were tissues on the table. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would come back again.

A day in the city and craving authentic Thai. Had no idea a quality place like this would be located in the food court. Shown to our table immediately and we ordered immediately. Mixed papaya plate and chilli crispy pork with rice were absolutely banger. Wow. It was like we had been transported back to Thailand. Fresh, packing with flavour and absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back and with friends.
