I made an appointment online with the optometrist, who was extremely patient and thorough. All the staff, including the person who greeted me and another team member who performed one of the tests, were friendly, courteous and very professional. The level of service surpassed my expectations, especially since the appointment was fully bulk billed.

We went to 4 glasses shops at Eastgardens last night and Specsavers were the worst. We walked around looking at glasses for 15mins and no one even said hello or offered help. One staff member was busy but didn't even acknowledge us as he reached for glasses in front of us. Many glasses were filthy too. We got a lot better service at 1001 Optical and they have a wider range of quality brands.

I had a great experience at OPSM today. Clara was very kind, patient and professional. She helped adjust my glasses carefully after the frame became crooked, and made sure they felt comfortable when I wore them. Really appreciate her friendly service. Thank you, Clara! ^o^

Got a frame and multi focal lenses frame logo badly glued falling off so replaced the frame twice still same problems badly glued logo on frame falling off the frame! Went back and the assistant agreed to replace with other frame however lenses needed to be fitting to the other frame! Unfortunately one lens was broken by staff member! So they ordered a new pair! Unfortunately the new right lens popped out and was lost down storm drain, only 3 months old I went back to the store! I was told that I had to buy a complete new pair! Warranty not applicable I could kit even use the new frame total loss! I was so upset I paid almost $600.00! I did nothing wrong it was a badly fitted lens in Melbourne when made! I have used several Specsaver stores and have bought at least twenty pairs of glasses! I recommend that people take there eyewear purchases to a better optometrist retailer as Specsavers manufacture issues and consumer protection is obviously useless!

Went in today to order a trial pair of contact lenses and had a disappointing experience. The staff member who served me (a British lady) repeatedly tried to send me back to the store where I originally had my eye test, even after I explained multiple times that I’ve moved and now live in the city. She was dismissive, unhelpful, and offered no alternatives or solutions. She didn’t ask my name or look at my prescription to confirm what I needed, so she couldn’t have checked the actual stock levels to see if a trial pair was available. It felt like the only time she was interested in assisting was if I committed to buying full boxes - which isn’t possible without a trial pair. The customer service here needs serious improvement. This morning’s experience fell well below expectations.
