We Paid for comprehensive travel insurance. Made a legitimate claim and Claim denied Our flight was delayed THREE DAYS because of a technical fault with the aircraft, costing us thousands in prepaid travel plans and leaving us completely screwed Apparently, despite paying for “comprehensive” travel insurance, technical faults aren’t covered. Because, of course they aren’t The Terms & Conditions of this policy would have to be some of the most pathetic, loophole-filled nonsense I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. It seems “comprehensive” actually means comprehensive, except for all the things you might reasonably expect to be covered So, lesson learned READ EVERY SINGLE LINE OF THE FINE PRINT BEFORE BUYING TRAVEL INSURANCE Because when you actually need it, apparently that’s when you discover what you did not buy it Absolutely useless. Avoid

I was in Turkiye and felt like I had an ear infection but was keeping it at bay with antibiotics I had taken from Australia. The lady on the phone was fabulous when I suggested I may need to go to a hospital for more antibiotics. I did go but I knew the hospital was ripping the insurance company off because the key thing they cared about was 'travel insurance'. 3 hospitals wouldn't even quote until you rocked up. How can you not know what a visit will cost when asked before visiting? In Turkiye you don't go to a GP, it is always a hospital. In the end I didn't need to worry about the hospital as I ended up there and had forgotten my passport. What impressed me though was Zoom followed up with me by email to see how I was going. That felt very supportive and was appreciated. While I didn't have to make a claim and could close it off - I felt supported and listened to. I will use Zoom travel insurance again. Thank you for not leaving me feeling stranded.

So easy to deal with and everything was online. I was extremely nervous about putting in my claim when my husband had a seizure 4 days prior to leaving for Bali but I am so delighted to report that Zoom we empathetic and so easy to deal with and the claim was processed very promptly. I will be using Zoom Travel Insurance again. Thank you as it was such a relief to receive a positive outcome after a very shocking start to our family holiday.

Highly recommend Zoom Travel Insurance We were very happy with Zoom Travel Insurance on our recent trip. Near the end of our journey, we received a timely reminder about our policy's expiry date — which turned out to be crucial. Due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, we had been forced to change our flights, and our new return dates fell several days after our original schedule. Without that reminder, our cover would have lapsed. Extending the policy was straightforward and cost only a small additional amount. It gave us real peace of mind during a stressful situation, and the whole experience felt genuinely supportive. We will definitely be choosing Zoom Travel Insurance again for our next overseas trip.

A great company to deal with. I was initially a little unsure when my claim took some time to be approved. However, once it was approved, the process was incredibly smooth and straightforward. The team is friendly and helpful — with my 12-month policy, they arranged direct payments to the hospital so I didn’t have to pay anything after the first two visits. They are also refunding the amount I paid above my excess. I’d like to thank the entire team at Zoom for their support. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for travel insurance. There’s no need to look anywhere else. To anyone currently waiting on a claim with Zoom: don’t stress if it’s taking a while. They are an honest and reliable company. As long as you don’t have any pre-existing medical conditions, I’m confident they will look after you.
