Sydney is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Traffic in Sydney peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the unit or street number up to the suburb, state and four-digit postcode; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I joined AIA Health mainly because of the AIA Vitality and Apple Watch program. That was the main reason I switched insurers in the first place. After joining, I was told the Apple Watch program had been terminated. Even after explaining that I had signed up before the program ended, I got nowhere. I felt completely misled and very disappointed with how the situation was handled. The customer service was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had. I tried calling multiple times (at least four times) and the phone lines either weren’t working or I couldn’t get through. The one time I did manage to speak with someone, I was on hold for around 45 minutes. To make matters worse, I recently received an email saying AIA was unable to obtain my clearance certificate from my previous insurance, despite the certificate already having been provided. Overall, the experience has been frustrating from start to finish. I would not recommend AIA Health.

Used to be a great health fund but after few years of fast rising premium & declining value, we decided to leave them this year. Very hard to contact them & often emails & calls go unanswered. Then a sting from behind, they sneaked him a small fee on our credit card even we no longer a member. Of course we can’t speak to anyone! Buyer beware!!

Extremely poor experience with AIA. For the last five years, despite updating our address, we’ve had to call them every single year to resend our annual statement because they kept sending it to the wrong place. You’d think after one or two reminders they’d fix their records, but apparently not. The final straw came last month when they decided to increase our premium by 50%. Naturally we started looking elsewhere immediately. Ironically, our new insurer — a well-known and reputable company — is charging us about half of what AIA wanted. We thought switching would be the end of the ordeal, but canceling the policy turned into another nightmare. It took five separate phone calls to get them to actually process the cancellation because they kept taking the direct debit even after we told them to stop. We had to spend more time chasing them just to fix their own cancellation process. To top it all off, even the cancellation notice was sent to our old address again. We only knew about it because they forwarded the letter to us via email. Honestly, sending an email alone doesn’t seem to get much attention from them. You have to keep following up with phone calls just to get anything

I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with AIA Australia and their AIA Vitality program. For multiple weeks, the Vitality app has failed to sync my steps correctly, despite me clearly meeting the weekly targets. I’ve provided screenshots, followed up repeatedly, and received generic responses claiming the issue was “resolved” — when it absolutely wasn’t. The explanation that the app needs to be opened “every couple of days” to sync properly is frankly unacceptable. What’s WORSE is their ridiculously slow response times and the need to chase them multiple times just to get basic acknowledgment. Each time, I’m told to check my statement, but the missing rewards remain unresolved. Meanwhile, I’m the one losing out. A rewards program that doesn’t reliably track activity — and requires constant follow-ups to fix recurring issues — defeats the entire purpose. Extremely disappointing service and a very poor user experience.

Won't cover my insurance for my superannuation due to my BMI. No doctor check or anything.. just straight out declined. This company discriminates again larger people and wont cover you unless you're within an outdated BMI range. You don't even have to be unfit or have medical issues. Big scam.
