If you value your safety, avoid this pharmacy at all costs. One of my clients, who takes anti-epileptic and anxiety medication, was dispensed what amounted to two years’ worth of medication in a single month by one of your pharmacists, Josephine. This is an appalling level of care and should never happen. As a nurse I understand that dispensing medication on this scale raises serious concerns about compliance with professional standards, and patient safety. This really should be investigated by your professional board.

Back in January, I went to this pharmacy for a rabies vaccination. Their signage clearly says they offer them, yet the pharmacist I spoke to seemed completely at a loss and had to call someone else over. It wasn’t exactly reassuring. What’s more concerning is that the information I was given turned out to be wrong when I later checked it. That’s not a small matter — if it had been someone in a more vulnerable position, say a pregnant patient, the consequences could have been quite serious. The whole experience has sat rather badly with me ever since. Friends have suggested I report it, though I’ve been reluctant as I imagine it’s a rather drawn-out process. Still, I felt it worth mentioning here.

I have always felt special at Blooms Bondi Junction. Both the pharmacists and administrative staff are very eager to understand what you need and provide it. Waiting time is highly acceptable pricing is reasonable.

I received health advice from one of your pharmacists, Lucy Kim a few months back. Following that advice, I continued to experience ongoing pain and have since been assessed by a specialist. I have now acute liver injury, which my doctor concluded to have been due to the health information I was given by you. I have reported this to your regulatory bodies like my doctor asked. I will be coming in, In person to speak to one of you and expect to be treated with some decency

During my visit, comments made by pharmacy staff felt insensitive and left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome as a Jewish client. I expect a professional, respectful environment for all customers, and this experience did not meet that standard.
