Priceline Pharmacy Bondi Junction is a pleasure to visit. It is wonderful to walk into a bright, airy pharmacy where the stock is well displayed, easy to browse and well priced. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and approachable. What impressed me most was the service at the pharmacy counter. I was able to have a direct conversation with the pharmacist, which made such a difference. In my case, they were able to source a medication that had been out of stock elsewhere. They also recognised that I lived some distance from the pharmacy and went out of their way to accommodate my needs, making sure I received an urgently needed medication in time. I was extremely impressed. This is old-fashioned service we all crave at its best.

We booked an appointment for a flu vaccine. There was only one chemist working. I understand that the shop can get busy but the chemist was prioritising people without appointments for some reason. We finally got our flu shot an hour after our booking time. If this is what it is like to have an appointment then what is even the point. People are busy which is why there are appointments in the first place so either have more chemists on staff or make everyone wait in line.

Made an online vaccine booking (after being turned away from getting the vaccine at Priceline Marrickville Metro last week because the pharmacist said they were too busy). Did not realise there are two Priceline pharmacies in Bondi Junction, both on Oxford Street around 100 metres apart and went to the wrong one. Had to race to the correct one. The vaccine cost $30 more than I remember seeing it listed for online. The staff shrugged and said different outlets can charge different prices and the price might have been listed without including their administration fee. When I checked my booking and the website there were no prices. I thought Australian consumer law requires clear and informed pricing. Not impressed as the total cost was around $315.

I’ve been a regular customer at Priceline Bondi Junction Mall for years… until now. I spent $650 on beauty products for my girlfriend’s birthday. Two days later, she didn’t want some items — all brand new and sealed — and we returned with the receipts. The staff? Completely rude and dismissive. They refused to exchange anything, saying we could throw it away or keep it because “once sold, it’s not our problem.” That is absurd and unprofessional. We returned in just two days, with everything in perfect condition. Their attitude shows zero respect for customers and a total disregard for basic store policies. After this, I’m never shopping here again. Avoid this store if you value customer service or common decency.

Since the COVID period, I have been visiting this pharmacy regularly. Unfortunately, we have started to miss the former staff members who were experienced, highly professional, and truly committed to doing their jobs properly. On one occasion, a male cashier working at the register thanked me after my card made the usual beep sound and let me leave without completing the transaction properly. Later, I was called by the pharmacy owner and was almost scolded, as if the mistake had been mine. I shared my card details only because I wanted to be helpful; however, this was clearly an employee-related issue. That was not the end of it. On a Sunday, an employee named Nora told me that she was only there to cover someone else’s shift and did not have access to the system, and asked me to come back the next day. Frankly, if I am expected to come every day and the employee on duty does not have system access, it raises the question of why they are working there. Despite saying she had no access, she somehow asked for my details and entered them into the system later. Most recently, during my last visit, I experienced what I can only describe as workplace bullying directed at me as a custo
