Organising a funeral for a parent in your 20s or 30s is an incredibly challenging experience. John and Vicky from Funerals of Compassion were exceptional in their care and professionalism, making the entire process as seamless and stress-free as possible during such a difficult time. The service for my father-in-law was beautifully conducted and truly reflected the person he was and everything he would have wanted. The thoughtful keepsakes provided to our family were deeply appreciated and will be cherished. Vicky’s floral arrangement was absolutely stunning. I was even able to preserve some of the flowers and create a keepsake for our home, which means a great deal to our family. We are sincerely grateful to John and Vicky for their compassion, support, and attention to detail, which made a very difficult time a little easier to navigate

We recently entrusted our sister's funeral service to Funerals of Compassion and we are truly grateful for the care shown to our family. From the very beginning of the arrangements the team guided us gently through every step, making a very difficult time feel less overwhelming. They were patient, respectful and attentive to even the small details ensuring everything reflected our wishes. The service itself was beautiful and dignified and many of our family and friends commented on how thoughtfully everything had been arranged. I can’t thank Funerals of Compassion enough for the care and support they provided during such a difficult time. We are so forever grateful for the respect, love and care John, Vicki and his team from Funerals of Compassion showed us during the funeral planning and service they provided for our father. From the very start John guided us with utmost care and helped us with the overwhelming and difficult task of planning a funeral. He has been nothing short of amazing, him his wife Vicki and each and everyone of his team. We cannot thank you all enough. Unlike many other funeral companies, you provided that personal touch, which definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. From the gorgeous flower arrangements made by Vicki, the mass booklets done by Danni, the personalised water bottles handed out to each guest and the tissue packets, to the warm embraces from your beautiful team, Colleen and Chelsea. It all turned out beautifully. Our father would have been so pleased how everything was managed. Everyone noted how beautiful everything was. We cannot thankyou all enough for what you did. A friend of mine had recommended Funerals of Compassion after her positive experience with John and his team. Throughout this ordeal, John has been nothing but kind, compassionate and patient. The service was beautiful, with Vicki (John's wife) creating a stunning floral arrangement. John's communication was effective and his staff were highly professional. I highly recommend Funerals of Compassion to anyone.

We had to arrange a funeral for a Very Close Friend, John & Vicki at Funerals of Compassion made us feel extremely comfortable & helped arrange a wonderful send off for our friend. The service went well & David the Celebrant did a great job, the flowers looked amazing Thank you Vicki. John, Vicki & the Team all showed empathy, genuine kindness & compassion. I never write reviews but decided to write one because we’re so glad we went with Funerals of Compassion for our dad’s passing. Thank you John for being so patient in explaining everything to us, and for being so reliable during this difficult time, keeping us updated with everything you were doing on your end to help speed things up for us to get the necessary documents to bring dad’s ashes overseas. It gave us peace of mind knowing we could rely on you. John and his lovely team took good care of dad while he was in their care. I appreciated the call to let us know when dad was expected to be in your care and the subsequent call to let us know when you had received him. I even received a call from John after our overseas trip, asking if everything went well with bringing the ashes overseas. Thank you for being so invested in helping us and making sure everything went according to plan. God bless you and what you do.

I cannot recommend John and his team highly enough. After having a poor experience at one of the bigger funeral places in Blacktown, we decided to look elsewhere. John was amazing right from the start. He came to our home and walked us through the whole process. He gave us all of the information that we needed (including being very upfront and transparent about prices etc). He treated our family with respect and dignity and kept us in the loop every step of the way, even after the funeral service. We felt so comfortable with the team. All of the staff were absolutely amazing. The funeral itself was beautiful and the flower arrangements by Vicki were lovely. It is such a difficult time when you've lost a loved one and so important to feel comfortable. Thanks John, Vicki and the Team.
