We had our Dad's funeral today, organised by Sahara funerals at Pinegrove memorial Park, North Chapel. Their services are excellent. The staff is very compassionate and guided us through the entire process. I wish I could give Sahara funerals additional star for their amazing services.

Is it normal to ask for a cash tip at the cremation room? With no prior notice of this requirement and when offered $10, rejected and requested another $50? Other than this, the funeral services were impeccable. It's a pity there was such unethical practices being shown to the grieving. Forest lawn memorial services have also been notified.

Amazing supports , excellent services and wonderful owner. Highly recommended to everyone who wants to have first class services for their loved ones. In a very difficult time, with no knowledge of funeral and government rules and all paper works required. We met Mr. Lawrence Uday Prakash and Simmi , who look after all cultures, very professional , efficient in term of money and times. They treated us like their own family , comforted us and were very respectful. Mr. Lawrence is the best , he is very humble and supportive, he managed it right from start to finish all smoothly. There was an air of calmness , positive aura and efficiency in you. Right from the beginning we felt we were in very good hands. We were very impressed with the high level of professionalism shown by you and we were grateful for the advice, care and support you gave. You guided us gently throughout the whole process with sensitivity. Nothing was difficult for you. I contacted Sahara funerals upon my dad's passing and Uday (Lawrence) was very helpful in explaining the process, organising the funeral and cremation to take place within 24 hours. It was not easy to align the priest's availability with crematorium and chapel availability but he managed it. For us it also helped that he is well aware of Hindu customs and the details around South Indian traditions/procedures. His team is efficient and sensitive, and they presented dad very well.

I contacted Sahara funerals at an unfortunate situation where my friend's husband passed away. He had to be repatriated to India. The situation was even more critical as he was a traveller and did not have a family here. In the current world, where you see job as job, Shrada and Uday valued the situation and were empathetic. They met me on Sunday to sort of things for the family which they could have easily avoided saying that it's a weekend. They even took an extra mile and worked along side the insurance company. Their first priority was to send the person back to India. It has been few weeks since the repatriation and they have been patiently waiting for the fund release. They never pressurised me on it. Honestly, we rarely find people like Shrada and Uday. They definitely see it more than a business. If not them, the process wouldn't have been smooth. Thanks Sahara Funerals.

Sahara funerals conducted funeral service for my mother's funeral two weeks ago. From the moment I contacted their owner Uday Prakash, who explained me in detail the requirements in Sydney for a Hindu funeral. On day of sad passing away of mum, both Udayji and Shardaji made sure the finer details regarding the funeral were taken care of giving us more time to grieve and focus on other important things. The services provided by on the day I contacted Udayji to make arrangements to the final moment till when the service was concluded; was full of consideration and sympathy for all the family members. The fact that the service was very dignified and respectful was also echoed in the feedback provided by family and friends present on the day. Being of Hindu faith, Sahara funerals took care that all aspects relating to our faith were followed during the funeral. They also assisted in providing services of a hindu priest who performed last rites for mum on the day of the funeral and who will also perform religious ceremony in the coming days. I would highly recommend the services for families in Sydney who are in need of a quality funeral service.

Lawrence and Sharda, I thank you on behalf of my family and friends. Sahara funerals provided us with everything we needed and more. Both Lawrence and Sharda gave my grandma and grandpa the most dignified send off. On both occaisons all requests were catered for.
