I booked online for a wash and blowdry. The staff at this salon are absolutely lovely and so friendly. I got exactly what I was looking for from Stephany, she listens so well and I am so happy with how my hair turned out. As for the salon itself, it was clean, comfortable and had a very good energy and music.

I've been to Hair by PhD twice now, and I want to start by saying the service and atmosphere are genuinely lovely — the staff are friendly and the salon has a great vibe. That's what makes this review hard to write. On my second visit, I came in wanting a subtle change and brought an inspiration photo to make sure we were on the same page. Unfortunately, what I ended up with was much louder and bolder than what I had in mind — quite far from the reference I shared. To their credit, they offered to have me come back the next day for a fix, which I appreciated. When I returned and shared that I wasn't happy, I felt like my concerns weren't really heard. I was told it looked good on me and that change is good — and while I understand they meant well, I left feeling like I hadn't been listened to, and still unhappy with the result. It's now been three months and I haven't felt confident in my hair since. I find myself tying it up to hide it, which isn't how you should feel after spending a significant amount of money at the salon. I’ve had my hair done by Natalija twice now, and both times she did an absolutely amazing job. She really listens to what you want and delivers even better results than expected. My hair looks healthy, beautiful, and exactly how I imagined. You can tell she truly cares about her work and her clients. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and reliable hairstylist!

Honestly, the best service ever. My hair was jet black from dyeing it a couple of months ago, and Sam and Jessica truly brought my vision to life. I wanted to go lighter but didn’t realise how challenging the process would be. A few hours later, the girls absolutely nailed it! I still have another session in a couple of weeks, but I’m already so in love with how it’s progressing. Highly recommend these girls! ✨

Phd was looking for models with curly hair for a training session run by Clever Curl, and I volunteered for dry curl cut, hydration and styling. I have curly hair which is very dry, and as a resjlt looks frizzy rather than curly. I was attended to by Ashley and I couldn't have been any happier with my final look. She was very consultative, gentle, and transformed my frizzy hair to a glossy and shiny head full of defined curls. Thanks to the Clever Curl products, and the talent of my hairdresser.
