In my experience, dealing with QBE was one of the most stressful parts of recovering from my injury. About six months into my workers compensation claim, I found my case manager to be unnecessarily adversarial and threatening, despite my being fully compliant. As an injured worker, I wanted to focus on my recovery rather than worrying about baseless legal threats, harassment, and extremely rude and unprofessional coercive behaviour. I strongly recommend engaging a good independent rehabilitation provider and an IRO lawyer early. I also found it helpful to raise my concerns with IRO, iCare and SIRA after I experienced a pattern of extremely poor claims management. In my case, IRO stepped in and reimbursed claims that had initially been refused. Despite lodging a formal complaint with QBE, including requesting a change of case manager, I did not receive any outcome. I ultimately had to escalate my concerns to iCare. The regulatory bodies exist to protect injured workers from claims management that lacks compassion and fairness. I would not recommend QBE. I have heard many similar concerns from rehabilitation providers, IRO lawyers and transport providers, who describe QBE as the

It was easy to take a quote for a CTP Green Slip NSW from QBE - specifically QBE's "Good Drover's Discounts" makes it much easier to accept when every insurers are raving UP UP &UP the premiums. I would recommend QBE for CTP if you have Good Driving records.

I had a missed call from Jamie Robson so returned the call and since my injury at work with a absolute dodgy company called Monart they are trying to stop any chance of me getting worker’s compensation I have held Construction Manager positions but I am honest have no idea how it works. Monart had no clue and I had to try lift this ridiculous piece of carrying equipment and was told there would be someone to help me as stated by the Narcissist So that’s what I am up against and Jamie Robson is my case manager and I am blessed to have him as my case manager. I have never had done worker’s compensation ever and I can’t use my right arm my shoulder dislocated at the job and since the 21/1/26 it’s dislocated 22 times and I cant do what I want to do being a plumber I am temporarily disabled my lawyer said as I am going to have to use some Super and the unknown if they knock the claim back I am totally so depressed well not as much so that’s the reason for this review Jamie Robson today once I said I am over my life I am going to be unemployable, Jamie spoke to me with care and help he was contacting people by email and he had must’ve emailed the mental health team my Doctor got called

0 stars. Absolutely terrible experience with QBE. After lodging a claim, instead of assessing and resolving the issue, QBE started demanding unrelated roof repairs that have nothing to do with the claim. These requirements are not stated anywhere in the Product Disclosure Statement, yet they are refusing to move forward unless we complete them. To make matters worse, they refused to proceed with the claim and even turned off the electricity, leaving us stuck in an already stressful situation. We were also told we must pay a $2,000 excess even if we decide not to proceed with the claim, which makes absolutely no sense. Policyholders take out insurance expecting support when something goes wrong. Instead, we were met with delays, unreasonable demands, and zero support during an already difficult time. Based on this experience, I would strongly warn others to think twice before insuring with QBE.

Comprehensive policy holder with QBE. My vehicle was written off and a market value amount was issued without discussion or consultation. When I asked reasonable questions about how the valuation was calculated and whether recovery could be pursued from the at-fault party, I was told the decision was final and to accept it or withdraw. When I continued to seek clarification, the call was ended. The process felt rigid, procedural, and dismissive at an already stressful time.
