Hotel Stay Review I live in Newcastle and commute to Sydney every Monday and Tuesday for my classes. The journey is far too long, so I need a place to stay overnight on Mondays (Sometimes Mondays and Tuesdays)to avoid tiring travel back and forth. This was my very first time staying at this hotel, and I’m already eager to book a room here every time for my future study trips. I must give special compliments to Dean from the reception team. He provided incredibly thoughtful and patient service with a genuinely warm, friendly attitude from check-in onwards. When I had concerns about my regular weekly accommodation plan, he listened attentively and helped sort everything out perfectly. Apart from Dean’s outstanding customer service, my room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, offering a pleasant rest space after long school hours. Thanks to the caring service from Dean and the tidy rooms, this hotel will definitely be my go-to Monday accommodation from now on. I highly recommend it to all travellers commuting between Newcastle and Sydney!

Definitely need more bathrooms You have to cross the entire hostel from the outside, going up and down stairs to find a free shower or toilet. There are only three private rooms and three shared showers for the whole hostel. I saw people queuing for their turn, and they all told me it was appalling. Hygiene-wise, it's a disaster, the reception is even worse, and the common areas are tiny, offering no social space to meet people, no sofas, and three measly tables that are always full, so you end up eating on a chair outside when two-thirds of the available ones are occupied. And the air conditioning isn't good; it just blows air and makes noise. I just got sick. The included meals are dreadful: pasta, tomato, and salad. A little more effort would be appreciated. Just because we're backpackers doesn't mean we deserve bad food. And I think the hostel makes enough profit to make an effort in this area. The layout is poorly designed; two old buildings that are in need of renovation make it a maze and unpleasant.

had a really great stay and would happily recommend this place to other travelers. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. Lea was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with any questions or requests, which made the experience even better. I truly felt welcome from the moment I arrived. Overall, a smooth, enjoyable stay with excellent service. I would definitely stay here again.
