Where to start with this peculiar, pheromone-perfumed dwelling? Let's begin with location, the one undeniable perk. Planted in the heart of Potts Point, the train station and bus routes sit practically on your doorstep, presenting the whole of Sydney and beyond. The rooms themselves are comprehensive. They contain beds. They contain duvets. Pillows. Bins. Mirrors. Smaller rooms come with an in-room sink — a thoughtful multitasker, serving both hydration and, let's say, convenience in equal measure. Larger rooms require a couple of steps to what is known as a toilet: a functioning device that, judging by the evidence left by certain guests, remains a deeply misunderstood concept. The staff, to their enormous credit, try. Facilities are cleaned daily. Common areas are tidied with commendable frequency. One senses an ongoing battle, and one admires their resolve. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great hostel with a really social atmosphere. The price is very reasonable, free dinner included every night. They also run great events with free pre-drinks, making it easy to meet other travellers. The location is also great, close to the bus routes and less than a 5-minute walk from Kings Cross railway station, so super easy to get anywhere in Sydney. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a great stay in MMPP. Everyone was friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. What stood out to me most was their professionalism combined with a genuinely personal approach. They took the time to answer questions and made everything feel straightforward and stress-free. I would definitely recommend MMPP to anyone looking for reliable service.

Avoid if you enjoy a decent night sleep. I stayed in a 4 person dorm, there's barely any space to move around. The beds are really uncomfortable, after a few hours you'll feel the metal from the bunk through the mattress. There's a fan in the room, but even with the door open there's no decent airflow. You'll melt and I didn't even visit when it was really warm outside. There's no privacy curtains either. There's not enough showers. On the full first floor there were 2 showers for women and there's about 10 dorms or more. Long waiting times especially in the morning. While booking the hostel mentions a storage room, but when I informed they said they didn't have any and you basically leave your stuff in the already super tiny and crowded common room. They offer free dinner at 7, but there's no guarantee you'll get anything. It does prevent you from being able to make yourself a meal at any reasonable dinnertime. They try to keep the place clean, but I think it's impossible due to lack of maintenance of the building and the amount of people there all the time in such a small space. Everyone is smoking outside, which is ok if it's a designated smoking zone. Sadly, inside you can
