We had a bit of an issue when we first arrived, but the way it was handled completely changed our experience. The staff member (Gavin) was incredibly professional, kind, and helpful from start to finish. He resolved everything quickly, upgraded our room, and made sure we felt welcome and looked after. Thanks to him, what started as a stressful situation turned into a great stay. Excellent customer service, a great attitude, and someone who genuinely cares about the guests. We really appreciate everything he did and highly recommend staying here. Thank you again!

I had a very disappointing experience staying at London Gate Hostel with my 12-year-old daughter. One of the main reasons I booked this property was because the room description on Booking.com stated that it included a bathroom and bathtub. However, when we arrived, the staff told us that the listing was incorrect and that our room actually shared the bathroom with everyone else. This was extremely misleading. The shared bathrooms were in terrible condition. They were dirty when we first used them, but what happened next was even worse. While my daughter and I were showering, a man repeatedly tried to open the bathroom door while we were both naked. I shouted that the bathroom was occupied, but he continued trying. Because there is a large gap around the door, it felt as though he was trying to look inside. We were both terrified. After we finished showering, we saw the same man standing outside the bathroom wearing only a towel around his waist, which made us feel even more uncomfortable and unsafe. That night, people were making loud noise in the common area until almost midnight, making it difficult to sleep. The following morning, the shared bathroom was absolutely disgust

We only stayed one night, but we couldn't complain, the staff and team were so courteous and wonderful. It was clean, and comfortable. And a great 11.00am checkout. Well definitely come back

Really enjoyed the vibe of this hostel. The common area is a nice spot to relax and meet people without being too loud. The staff were helpful and gave some great local tips. Everything felt well-organized and safe. Definitely a good value for the price.

Great stay here. The location is super convenient for getting around, and the rooms are kept very clean. I appreciated the sturdy bunks and the overall quiet atmosphere at night. It’s a solid, reliable choice for anyone visiting the city on a budget. Highly recommended.
